|
|
Hi, I just picked up a microStation and I was wondering if anyone has experimented with making a rig to run it off batteries? I am often in a (self-imposed) situation where I have no access to AC power.
Thanks in advance, I'm really looking forward to playing with this keyboard!

This is an ideal little kit that will work nicely - thanks much!
My microSTATION just arrived last night and I spent an hour or so just playing around with the default sounds and I like many of them. Some of the combi patterns are a bit to middle of the road but they'll be fun to tweak.
thanks again!

mS consumes 6W an hour, so 6w:9v=667mAh.
8500mAh:667mAh= 12.74+ hours battery power. |
Are you sure? The manual says it eats 1700mA. |

That item is no longer available.
Does anyone know of any other battery pack that is confirmed to work with a Microstation? |

I use a Pedaltrain Volto with a radioshack cord for battery. The cord ends are
C for the MS and M for the Volto. It works great and i can plug all my pedals to the same battery. |

I just use more expensive brand name standard, non- rechargeable Lithium ion bateries.
They last between 24 and 30 hours before I need to change them out.
I found no better alternatives.
Most of the name brand rechargeable lithium ion batteries lasts less than 20 hours and need to charge between 4-8 hours only to get barely get twice the life from a rechargeable.
I'll get, most times, over 3 times the battery life out of standard, non-rechargeable lithium batteries. |
