you are welcome
most demo's now are ambient based on the channel, but these soundsets are almost finished so in september the new demo's on the channel will switch to the modern dance and techno sounds. |

Jim, from my reading of Michael's proposal, the editor can pretty much do this already.
Create a "development" Combi that references Program locations you don't normally use and select that Combi to make it current. Copy Programs that you want to work with into the locations specified by the Combi. Double click on each Program to edit it. Choose the store option from the Program context menu as desired to update the specific Kronos memory locations. When you're finished you can save the data to disk with the editor or if you want it stored on the Kronos, move the Programs to new "permanent" locations and store the Combi to an unused location so it can be accessed later.
For the above to work as described, the editor and Kronos must be in "synchronized" mode.
As with Michael's suggestion, you are still editing the Kronos in Program mode but it is easy to switch back into Combi mode at any time to check out all 16 programs at once. _________________ Michael Lambie

Hi Soundquest: two questions for you, please.
1 - Is there any plan to edit AL1 synth engine with an alternative GUI ? (example, our forum colleague has created a stunning analog-kind GUI).
That will add value to existing features
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=73139&highlight=al1
2 - Is there any possibility to have, in a near future, a 64 bit version?
Thank you in advance

Hi
I never used the Editor. I have just recently got my Kronos and uses the 2.0 software.
I also own a Roland G6.
I really love the ARX 1 drums for Roland G6. Just love the way you can tweak each single drum or cymbal in a drumset. You also have a mixer for each drum and cymbal. I would love to do this with my Kronos to.
Was this possible do in Editor 1?
OR, maybe there's a way to do this in the Kronos??

There is limited editing for each drum voice (admittedly not as extensive as the Fantom).
Go into GLOBAL and tap the DRUM KIT tab, then SAMPLE SETUP - Select the drum kit you want to edit then tap the SAMPLE PARAMETER tab... from here you can change Attack/Decay time, Filter freq/Resonance etc
To change the individual sample you want to edit, just press and hold ENTER and tap a key on the keyboard. The VOICE/MIXER allows you to set the pan position and FX send.
Hope this helps. _________________ Synth DIY Projects |

I found out'. It was the samples that the each drum is built with.
This was exatly what i was looking for I would even say I can do just as much tweaking her as in the Roland G, maybe more!
Thank you som much Kronik
