After keybed replacement the touch is low and insensitive. The whole instrument is not the same as before service. I think that Factory sent M3's keybed as a replacement keybed and velocity settings..
Anyone with the same feelings?!

There's already an existing thread about the keybed replacement. You might want to check there first. _________________ Check me out at PianoManChuck |

It just doesn't work that one will have to search hundreds of replys in one thread to get an answer to a single question. In that thread the people argue about the keybed problem. I don't want to hear it. I need answers.
Yours,

did you try messing with the global velocity curve settings? After I got mine back with the new keybed, I changed mine from 4 (I think) to a 6 and I got a lot more sound out of the board. _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

Why didn't you immediately call the service center? Or did you?
I would try the global curves as well. _________________ Korg Kronos, RD-88, Yamaha VL1, Deep Mind 6, Korg Kross, author of unrealBook for iPad. |

Some people think they get faster answers here than calling a service center when having hardware related questions.
I also suggest try the velocity curves first. _________________

The forums are definitely a good source of info from users and people here are happy to help and share information. How did you go with adjusting the velocity curve? _________________ Admin Kronos Enthusiast Workshops Facebook Group

What version of the OS is installed. If it's not 1.5.2, make sure they install AND CONFIGURE 1.5.2 for the new keybed.

Wow. I see, yeah it's better to come on here rather than deal with liars for sure.
We all know we tell the truth!
I would think the curves would solve the problem, but you never know. _________________ Korg Kronos, RD-88, Yamaha VL1, Deep Mind 6, Korg Kross, author of unrealBook for iPad. |

I have dealt with Korg's telephone tech support for several years and have always received excellent service. _________________ M3, Triton Classic, Radias, Motif XS, Alesis Ion |

same here. I called with an issue and after about 2 minutes of discussion the phone agent asked if I was "McHale from the forums."
Mad props to Korg's support and again many, many thanks to Jerry K. for all the help he has given me personally as well as many others on here. He is one of the main reasons I only use Korg synths.
