Paul Duffy????
The original Triton Guru, who seemed to disappear 3 years ago...after he couldn't talk enuff people into preordering the tutorial (which was in Paul's initial stages of development(. Long time no see, Paul....from SanDiego to Northern California, to somewhere down in Dixie.
Wonders never cease. Quite a cool guy, actually@
Well, Paul....I know it's gotta be a first-rate job! Just ordered it!

You might be surprised by the depth and imagery in Paul's new CD. I've had my Classic for three years or more...have made 12 Albums using it along with other hardware and software....but I'll never close my mind...even if this is just a CDVideo vs. a DVD video. So many of the tapes and DVD on Keyboard product have been just elementary, or are done by some flunky that you can't stand watching anyway.
Hey for $39 bucks for almost a two hour vid...plus having it set up for maximum "sinking in" purposes, I felt is was well worth a "slice" out of this months social security check.... |

From the amount of queries I read in English and French Korg forums, this seems to be the logical step.

Obviously nobody is forcing you to buy one. As for the price, it is reasonably priced if you consider similar products. I can see this becoming a big help for beginners, particularly since reading the manual is not always as straightforward as it should be.
Good luck with sales Paul.

I am ordering mine!!
I consider US $40 to be a very small amount of money for real Triton training. |

Yes, I decided to order mine too. I'm not sure how much I'll learn from it but such an enterprise deserves to succeed.

Will there be something similar for the PA-1X? I could afford the video - too bad about the keyboard. |

Paul Duffy, as I said, has been a Triton owner since day one and has been creating this over months and months...Lucky Classic users!!
I don't wanna list all the keyboards and modules I have, but I'd like someone "like Paul" to do "one each" for me. |

Well, just looked a the first of the first of two CD's....you must have DIVX installed to view this compressed CD.
It's Paul's talent for a smooth presentation...I think this will be a winner...two years after the fact---of his offer to do a complete tour de force of the Trition.
I'm happy with my $XX purchase, Paul! |

Hello Everyone
As a beginner in this world of synths, I am very interested in buying these CD's. But when I tried to watch the demo, my computer couldn't install DIVX. (The download of the zip files went okay.) Can this be because I have Windows XP?
Any ideas????
Thanks

The minimum Hardware configuration to install and run Dr. DivX on a Windows PC is as follows:
· Intel Pentium II 450 or equivalent
· 64MB RAM
· 20GB hard disk space (for installation)
· 8MB video card
· Any standard sound card
· Any standard Fire wire card / port or similar interface for Digital Video input from a Digital MiniDV Camcorder
· Video capture card to capture live video
The Recommended hardware configuration to install and run Dr. DivX on a Windows PC is as follows:
· Pentium III 1GHZ processor or higher
· 128MB RAM or more
· 20 GB Hard Disk Space and higher
· 32MB Video card and higher
· Any standard sound card
· Any standard Fire wire card / port or similar interface for Digital Video input from a Digital MiniDV Camcorder
· Video capture card to capture live video
I installed, without a hitch, on my 2.4 Gig PIV computer.
You know, it is just a trial-period copy, but that shouldn't make any difference...you definitly need to get it installed to see the two CD's. |
