It most certainly does...
However, it's a rack. I've tried using racks and I just don't feel connected to the sound so don't like them, weird.
Maybe it's just me or do others feel like that? _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

My principal synth for the last three years has been the Radias-R, behind a number of different workstations or controllers. Even after buying the Kronos, I keep going back to it because it is so incredible and versatile and hands-on.
Of course, this differs from a 1 or 2U sound module with no hands on control. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

Interesting, cello. It's actually rare for synth manufacturers to make rack models these days. For Korg, the Radias has been the only one for over 10 years, but it wasn't made any other way - no integrated keyboard version.
The guys who like racks always scream for them, but the reality is that racks just don't sell anywhere near the numbers that keyboards do. So, a brave move from Roland.
Of course, using softsynths inside your computer is a bit like using a rack, isn't it.

there is also information saying that the other "expansions" like the supernatural stuff will take up a slot as well... and the PCM data (which I am assuming is the internal ROM) takes up all 4 slots....
so that means that if you have the internal ROM loaded that you can't load any of the SRX stuff. OR the supernatural stuff...
so it seems that it's either internal ROM or SRX/supernatural...
not a deal breaker... but certainly a big deal...
anyone seen the price yet? _________________ Please subscribe and follow me on Youtube and Facebook for information related audio technology.

I think that problem might be a big deal for many people and stop many of potential buyers of Roland Integra 7.
P.s.
I still do not understand why Roland did that?! It us obviouse for me that Roland artificaly limited that to 4 slots because the hardware could handl more! 16 slots or even might more!!! crupp! _________________ https://слово-божье.рф

A few outlets here in the UK had price info on their web sites... but overnight, some of them have disappeared
Digital Village (where I buy my gear from) still have their pages up though.
£1,199
No doubt it'll be cheaper in the US
I like the idea of it... But I got my fingers burnt with the Gaia (Sampled waves for the Osc's, heavy aliasing, mono mode when you switch sync on etc). I'm not sure if I can trust Roland again, especially after the Fantom G series debacle. _________________ Synth DIY Projects |

Knowing Roland's history of recycling products in various incarnations it may be worthwhile to wait a few months for those who can't get along with modules.
I would not at all be surprised if this module finds its way into a workstation. |
