it's black colored, it sure is plastic, but it's very hard.. when i knock it with my nail, it doesn't feel like plastic, but sure it's not metal... so what is it??

I'm sure it is metal because sometimes i get an electric shock off mine when i lean on it.. (the part near the screen) so i think it must be some sort of metal! Also it feels cold to touch, just like metal. But other parts of the case seem to be plastic.. like the part near the ribbon and joystick.

It's Aluminium as previously stated, the end caps are metal underneath the plastic caps too.
