There is a downloads area under the main korgforums.com domain. However, it is unclear how a forum member would upload to the files area. There is no visible link or instructions for uploading new files.

I would like to start a thread in the forum, and also upload and link some relevant files in the downloads area -- how would I go about that?

Sharp does the uploading - Suggest you PM him and tell him your plans. Am sure he'll be happy to support any sharing initiative at KF.
