I am not sure if this will help you or not but when loading the operating system I do remember you have to only copy 1 file at a time on you sd card before loading.
First copy the 1st file to your card and then place that into your m50 and load that. Now put the sd card back into your computer and DELETE the firt file and then copy the second file to your card. Now put the sd card in your m50 and load that.
You have to delete the first file so the m50 does not get messed up with which file it is loading as they both have the same file ext. |

The M50 reinitialisation procedure involves turning off the power, holding down Reset Controls and Realtime Controls buttons and turning on the power. Keep holding the two buttons down for several seconds after power up. The SD card is not needed for this operaation, because the factory backup copy of the OS is stored internally. It's probably worth taking the SD card out for this operation.
No guarantees that the above process will work in every case, but its worth a try.
If this procedure does work, then it will be necessary to execute the Global menu command Load Preload/Demo Data, to restore the factory presets, and the OS can be upgraded to the latest version. |
