I too have an issue with the keybed on my Krome 61. I feel the edges are a bit soft and I even have got hung up before doing a fast movement from bottom to top. More than once. I also have a N5EX and a Triton Classic 61. Both keybeds are superior in feel IMHO. I think the Triton has a warmer sound altogether as well. Especially if you play the Krome in Mono. Alot of todays newer keyboards truly don't sound good in a live situation in mono. For instance if you have one cabinet you play out of and don't have the luxury of the Rhodes type tremolo or grand piano sound. I think the Krome is totally different animal with headphones on than when performing live. Just my thought. I still like it however. |
