Hey guys. I am new here. I will buy my first wavedrum soon but I was wondering how can I connect it to my macbook pro the is only one slot for the mic in the mac. Should I get an additional sound module for the laptop or I can connect the wavedrum directly to it?
Thank you for your help! |

Hi Paddy
you would be best to use an audio interface of some description, the cheapest option would be a USB based one - a low latency USB2 interface would be your cheapest option.

Actually, the MacBook Pro will accept a stereo input. All you need in some combo that gets you dual mono 1/4" to stereo 1/8 inch. The easiest to find would likely be l/r RCA to stereo 1/8" and then add two RCA female to 1/4" male. |
