Hi there, big multiple Korg device owner here and I luckily got my hands on an Ms-20 mini and love it.

However I have a question about an inconsistency that seems to be part of the keyboard. When I hold a key and play one higher than it while still holding it, it will play and glide properly with Portamento and I can hammer that key and both notes will play alternately, but when I hold a key and try and play one lower than it while holding the key it won't play that note until I let go of the first key and can't hammer like the opposite and have to let go of the higher key.

Is this a defect of the one I have or a limitation of the device?

Thank you very much for your time.

I believe this is intentional - the MS20 gives priority to the highest note where more than one note is pressed at a time.

It's like that by design and the original functions this way as well.

I thought that was the case.

Thanks for the responses guys and in confirming this I highly recommend this synth.

I bought a Minibrute out of impatience a week ago and found the keyweights rattling around inside the box and the SYNTH as well.

Arturia actually has guides on their site how to re-glue the weights. No Thanks.

Everything is built in China but Korg has been making a variety of things in China for a while and as far as I know this is Arturia's first attempt at analog re-hash and doesn't have the patch bay you can litter with doepfer devices and all sorts of other crazy cv stuff

I'll keep the Ms-20 mini thank you
