Simple... Pa900!
Wink

which is better sound.? - matter of oppinion. To me, I do like Korg better.

more expandable? - No doubt Korg. Sampling, more memory, local versions.

better kaybed? - The Pa900 I do not know yet, but even my Pa50 is better than Psr950. But that is again somthing of a personal taste.

more versatil to play alone..? Korg has two sequencers, chorg sequencer.

more styles, sounds, memory? More for Yamaha, but Korg has much more in-depth editing solutions, so you can really get creative.

and any other differences ?? many: TC Vocalist in Korg, guitar mode, touch screen, full sequencer, chord seq., sampling, lighter, better design (personal taste), etc.

Pa900 hands down - more features, more 'usable' features, less price. I'm sure s950 is more than $1899.

To me, what can simple sell me the korg is 3RH voices layering, tap tempo (Which is so useful for live play), the joystick (better for oriental/indian music vs the two wheels) and the korg rhythms.

And then there is THE vocal processor - TC Helicon, sampling capabilities which 950 doesn't have, touch screen..

When you go up the ladder, every single differentiating unique feature is a sell-point. And if Korg has so many as stated above, you call that not just a preference but a hands-down choice.

Thanks.!!

I saw the prs950 in 1899 before a new rebate.. From 2400 ( aprox)
Its a new price.. I imagine because the new price from the others brands.

Im korg fan... But i never be use a PA series.

Only synths. Triton, kronos, m3, triton Le, DS8, x5, X5d, microstation...

I read the manual operation.. And is very complete in edit areas and versatil. Very good.
But i never heard a PA series.

I m thinking to buy an arranger keyboard. To work.

And this.. PA900 is the first choice.

Thanks

Just for honesty's sakes: The psr s950 is indeed 1899 or even less, and it DOES have tap tempo.

I'm not a "fan-boy" of any particular brand, which is to say, that I do not dismiss an entire product line..because of one bad experience with a certain model.
However though,I have leaned towards Korg for years, because I've found their sequencers more fluid and the gui's have a more sensical layout and these are a couple of weak points with Yamaha...in my opinion....an opinion that is shared by many though,so a demo at your local retailer may be critical,if one is unfamiliar with either brand.

I never owned an arranger keyboard as of yet,but I did own an MOX6 once and until Yamaha does a major overhaul on their screen menus,I will never by another Yamaha keyboard.

The only feature of the PSR-s950 that I found interesting,is that you can record audio in the WAV format....apart from that, not much else.

It's all hinged on an individual's personal needs,so to each his/her own...but the Pa900 is the clear choice for me.

By the way...I had just checked the price of the PSR earlier today and $1899 is absolutely, the correct street price.
