Hi, first off, for the OS update does the USB stick have to be empty or can I use a stick with a bunch of staff already on it? Second, serial of my newly purchased X 61 is 100320 and OS installed is 2.0.1. I know there is serial nr. thread but it is for non X models so would like that those that have X version to post their sn. and OS version here. I am wondering when approx. mine has been made and if it has an updated motherboard for sure. What say you?

Best to not have any files on the USB drive other than the OS update

Plus use a stick that was freshly formatted by the KRONOS.

Regards
Sharp.

some simple file management skills are in order to free up the USB thumb drive for just the OS. and then follow sharp's lead.
