Hi guys!!
I'm having a problem with one key: sometimes I play the F sharp (the one in the range of the middle C octave) and it sounds as if I was playing with full intensity when in fact I'm not and the bar in the display raises to the top. The curious thing is that it only happens with that key. It's really annoying and frustrating to play the krome with that s*** going on, makes it hard to focus on the performance when a key sounds much more louder than the others
Has anyone come up with the same problem and know how to fix it??
PLEASE HELP!!!! |

Most probably needs a new contact strip. They are cheap and pretty easy to install but I'm not sure which one suits the Krome. See:http://www.guitar-parts.com/catalog/korg/korg-keys-octave-sets
I've had to replace them in my Pa1x a few times after getting the exact problem you describe. Its usually a small tear in the rubber causing the problem but if you are lucky it might just be some dirt in the contact that you can blow away. |

I have this problem as well: My middle G either doesn't sound, or sounds very very loudly. I've no idea how to take it apart and fix it. Is it as straight forward as just unscrewing everything?
It would be great to get some details: Is there anything in particular I should specifically avoid doing when disassembling the keyboard? What are the tell-tale signs that something is wrong?
If anyone can shead any light on how to rectify this issue, it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks. |
