Thanks
I was not aware of the specific Korg Forum on Guitar effects, but now I am...
Combining with what I found there I came up with this overview of the Amp models available in the Kronos Effects:
Amp Model // Derived from
Boutique CL // Dumble 100 W / Clean Channel
Boutique OD // Dumble 100 W Overdrive Special
Tweed 1x12 // Fender Tweed Deluxe
Tweed 4x10 // Fender Bassman for bass guitar
UK 70's // Marshall JTM-45/50 (1969) (High Treble Channel)
UK 80's // Marshall JCM-800 (1983)
UK 90's // Marshall JCM-900 (lead channel)
UK Blues // Marshall Bluesbreaker
UK Modern // Marshall JCM-2000
US HiGain // Mesa Boogie Mark IV (1991, snake skin)
US Modern // Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier (1989)
Vox AC15 // Vox AC15 (1962)
Vox AC15TB // Vox AC15TB (Top Boost circuit)
Vox AC30 // Vox AC30TB (Normal channel)
Vox AC30TB // Vox AC30TB (Brilliant channel)
Bass Amp Model // Derived from
AC100 // Vox AC100
Classic // Fender Bassman 100
Gold Panel // Eden WT-400 Traveler Plus Bass Head (clean sound)
Jazz // Roland Jazz Chorus JC-120
LA Studio // Mesa Boogie 400+ bass amplifier
Scooped // Gallien Krueger 800RB (80's sound)
Studio // Ampeg B15 all tube amp (Motown), P-bass
UK Major // Marshall Major bass 200
Valve // Ampeg SVT, with Ultra Low On
Valve 2 // Ampeg SVT, suitable for rock
Some of these are still guesses. If any of you has ideas for improvement, then please post them
The list helps me in any case to understand a little better the effects choices, instead of blindly trial and error.. _________________ Ad
