Hi Fellas,
I have a Kronos that I use for jobs. However I wanted to set up my Triton Rack in case the Kronos needs repair.
I know there are Init Banks in Combi Mode and Init banks in Program Mode. I just wanted to verify what I've discovered. You can't save Combis in Program Init Banks and vice versa.
Am I correct?
Thanks Frank

Thanks Synthoid.
If that's the case, am I better off by creating Multies and saving them to floppy disks?
The manual mentions you can have up to 200 Multis. I've tried and only been able to get to 15.

Hmmm, can't help you there as I don't own the rack. I'm sure someone else will come along and give you the right info though.

Actually, that is only half true.

You CAN NOT save combis to program init banks.

However, it is fairly simple to write a one program combi. You can even use a "copy effects from..." utility to copy the program's exact effects.

That gives you a combi that is IDENTICAL to the desired (single) program and that way you CAN actually save a mix or set list of both combis and programs, but only to a combi init bank.

Hey Bill
You must have been reading my mind with that idea. It seems that Korg gives you more Program Init Banks than Combi Banks especially if you have EXB boards installed.
