I know this can be done in combi mode splitting for example piano at higher end of keys and strings on lower in then panning each hard left and hard right to have a seperate mix in live situation but can this be done in program mode mainly to avoid effect routings etc? |

Yes, you can pan the 2 oscillators separately in any program that's 'double' oscillator. They each will have their own envelopes too.
So you could do split EP left and Strings right, for example.
And they each have their own keyboard range page too, so Lo/Hi splits are also doable!
If you turn Bus to Off or L/R, then you can independently route Osc 1 separate from Osc to the 2 mFX's, they can each have their own send, or only go to one of the 2 mFX's or neither.
But I don't think you can do that with the iFX's.
Maybe someone can illuminate that gray area for us
Doing it in a Combi would probably sound richer, and you do have some control, maybe even more than in the above scenario, over effexts; but I think you stated your reasons for wanting to do it with a single (double) program |
