Hello, no one has the newer Korgs for sale near here, so perhaps a Pa600 owner could answer a brief question for me...

If the Split LED is on (arranger zone = left side), and the chord recognition mode is FINGERED, what happens when you play C1 + G1 ?

Does the arranger acknowledge C[1+5], C major, or ???
Thanks,
Ted

Arranger is play whatever style tell him to play.
I hard to explain to someone who never try make a style, but I will give example.
When you creating chord progression, mostly you store Major chord C (not necessary C) , means note C, E and G, then you set in Style Record Options to C major.
When you try to play arranger compare in real time and adjust ... you play chord F Major , its play F Major, you play E minor , plays E minor, even play D7, etc.
But if you by mistake store C Major and set to D Major, when you play all chords will be play -2 semitone of tune.
well... if you wants have nice distortion guitar Power chords in your style, you need store your 2 notes (C1 and G1) and set instrument to distortion guitar for this track and tell arranger this is your C Major, then you can play using 1 finger and its going to play only root note + fifth note.
I hope I did explain simply is possible to you.

BTW. for regular style, not custom modify when you hit C1 + G1 its plays C Major.
Confused
