I reckon that I have now used my Pa3x-76 for 1000 gigs
Yes - one thousand gigs!!
no probs other than 1 x clock battery. |

Great news!! This means my PA3X-76 is at least good for another 970 gigs

This is a great indication of product quality....and of course your musician quality as you have so many gigs! Thanks for sharing this news though.
Reading the forums over the years, I believe the most common failures are
1) Batteries
2) Joystick
I haven't seen any joystick failure reports recently....and I never knew for sure whether they were failing due to people being a bit heavy handed with them or that it was a weak design. |

Joystick broke on mine after about 6 months (about 120 gigs). After it was replaced I used it for another year and a half (360 or so more gigs) with no more problems. I normally work 5 nights a week.
I MAY have been responsible for the joystick breaking because it protrudes when the keyboard is in a bag. After it broke I always covered it with a piece of foam that was cut out to protect it while in transport.
