|
|
Hi Fellas,
I have a PA900 and don't want to screw it up. I have Mp3s on a USB memory stick. When is the correct time to insert it or remove it; while the unit is on or off?
Thanks Frank |

I found out that it doesn't matter. As soon as you insert the USB while the unit is on, it will come up with the message that it recognize the USB stick. The same with taking it out. I have taken the stick out, save something on it, reinserted back into the 900 while it was on. I don't think it matters much, nor do I think you can screw it up. _________________ The only stupid questions are the questions that have not been asked.

I have done the same as Snorkum and have not had a problem ... but if you feel it is safer, insert it when the KB is off ... _________________ t. : ) |

The main thing is, don't remove the stick while it is being written to, or being read from.
This also includes during the boot up or power down cycles.
Other than that, if the arranger isn't currently doing something, you shouldn't have an issue.
But, as has been said, on your own head be it! |
