|
|
Howdy-
I just got a microSAMPLER and am very new to synths and sampling. I have tried to search the forums prior to posting my question, but the search feature seems not to be functioning at the moment, so bear with me if this has been asked and answered.
Anyway, keep in mind my lack of experience, but I was wondering if there is a way to convert a gate sample to a one shot after it's in the microSAMPLER? I am creating samples using Audacity, saving them and then opening them in the microSAMPLER Editor and transmitting to a key that I select. The samples default to LOOP when I do this and when I turn off loop and transmit to the microSAMPLER, they seem to be transmitted as gate samples rather than one shot samples. I'd like to be able to just hit the key and let the sample play out but as soon as I let the key go, the sample stops. Is there a way to have the Editor or even on the microSAMPLER itself turn them into one shot samples?
If it matters, I AM saving them to the lower section of the keys that say One Shot... I also have the dial set to One Shot... Don't know if that matters or not but thought I'd mention that.
thx

Set release to 127, your one shot should then play through entire sample from a quick on off key press.. _________________ fine art website: www.timsartlounge.co.uk
