|
|
Hi guys,
I would like to ask you some info about the vocal effects coming with PA900
I do know that there is a TC Helicon 3 voices harmonizer, but... Which other vocal effects are there? Pitch corrector? Presets?
I have scavenged the net, but there is very little info about it
I have seen a clip about the vocal processor of the psr s950 where the voice can be modified to sound, let's say, like Barry White... Is the PA900 able to do something like this?
Thanks in anticipation |

There are reverbs and delays, compression and e.q. of course.
There are presets. I don't have the kb in front of me, but I'll try to hook it up tomorrow and see all the options.
As far as I remember there is no Pitch Correction. To be honest the ones I've seen on other arrangers don't seem to work very well!

Thanks, I look forward to hear from you
Ps I can live without the pitch correction... But that's not the case for my girlfriend... |

Cyrano,
I wouldn't say that in front of your girlfriend if I were you.

I've been "playing" with the vocal harmony effects. There are quite a number of Presets and it's pretty easy to make your own.
There is a preset for Male to Female, one for Octave down (Barry White?), some gimmick things like Aliens, Supa Fly? . . .
I think it would be easy enough to create almost anything you want, even if there is not a Preset already in place. Plenty of room for User storage.
For my "go-to" setting, I use One Voice Up. Sometimes I use neutral gender, sometimes Female. I make sure the other two voices are off. This is a good believable setting for a lot of country songs. If you need more voices there are 2 and 3-voice presets that you can use as-is, or alter to your needs.
Hope this helps.
