I picked 2 -3 -5 in that order of preference.

Great video. I liked the Nord slightly ahead of the Pa900 that came in a very close second in my opinion.
The best piano for the Pa3x or Pa900 I have come across is this free Steinway which was crafted by Antony Sharmman and tweaked by myself.
You can download it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4_6p-MMrzwLYlV4M3dvR0xWS3c/edit?usp=sharing
From the link choose File, Download. You then need to unzip the file then load it to your instrument.
Make sure you do a backup of your existing Set first in case you have User Sounds on User Page 1. The Set contains no other data than Sounds so will not upset anything. It is 15mb in size and contains two levels of multisamples and six levels of velocity filtering to give a very pleasing piano to play.
I hope you enjoy it.
John

The download of this file is not intuitive as the download is set up - Just click on the file drop down at the top of the page and choose the Steinway. set file for sown load - you do not need to download each of these files separately.

What an interesting video clip - but don't take it too seriously.
My choice was "1" and maybe "3" next.
BUT I am not a pianist and as each keyboard has many different piano sounds plus audio settings it is impossible to really compare "keyboards" - all you are comparing is "piano sounds" as selected and setup by this pianist.

I'd like to hear one done comparing drums. Still haven't found any realistic acoustic drum sounds yet...

I'm still using a PA1X Pro elite. Not quite enough meat so I use IGrand piano on the ipad4 with the irig midi and blend the 2 in the mixer. My vote was right from the start number 1 then number 3 The tyros is nice also but I like the Nord it sounds like a 9 ft grand with the lid up. I liked the pa900 for a more mellow club sound but it does not say what patch he is using, it was better then the Krono's which I have tried out several times at guitar center. Most of you guys have had the 1xpro and now have the pa3x pro, is the piano a big improvement over the 1x. Thanks Bob

Hi Bob. I've upgraded from the Pa1x to the Pa3x. The stock pianos are a big improvement but still a little muddy I my opinion. The free Steinway Piano mentioned above however (compatible with Pa900 and Pa3x) is amongst the best I have heard anywhere. It comes close to the latest stage pianos from Yamaha and Kawai which are top quality.

Steinway Pianos video Demo.

In my first try, there are 8 Steinway Pianos on user page 1, but some Piano

sounds have a little crash when play it heavily.

Does anyone have the same problem? BTW , very thank you for sharing this

good sounds, hope someone can share more good Sounds !

I have a PA900 with the German Musikant Expansion (SD Card). I tried to install the Steinway, but it overrides part of the Musikant setup, and I can't figure it out. The Musikant expansion is installed via Resource restore only.

Any help appreciated.

I'm guessing the Musikant expansion makes use of the User 1 Sound Location.
If you have 15mb PCM Ram available then you should be still able to load the Steinway Pianos. When you go to Load the Set then just make sure you drill down to the Piano sounds by choosing: Load, Open, Sound, Open, User 1, Open, touch the sound name, Load, then choose an empty Location to put it.
Here is a new link to the Steinway Pianos set which might be a little easier to use: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0d86al68t1j3ed8/AADxSVociRw0vQbbZfmw6WKIa
Cheers,
John
