I have a song where I saved the style with Intro 1, Var1 and synchro start.
However, it is not being saved. When I play another song with different start, and then when I try to play the first song again it start with the settings of the last song.
All of my song, at this time are store in Favorite. I turned of the editi protection in Global, thin king that this may prevent it. No so. Maybe I have a brain fart, but I can not find out why I cannot do it.
Need some help from the pros, please.

Thanks
Snorkum

No I do not. I am using the Favorite 1 Bank. I know in Songbook there is a feature called synchro start. But if I do the setting as described and go to the pull down menu and press "Write to Style" should it not save this, so it'll be called up later that way?

A style is different than a specific setting for a song. I don't think the Style will save the settings you are making here. I would recommend that you use Songbook.

Set up the style, Intro, which Variation you want to start with, Sounds, STS settings, Pads that you want for the song, and then hit the Songbook button, saving to Book Edit 1, 2 & 3 with the name of the Song.

Check out the manual starting at p. 77.

Give it a try, and you will see how easy it is.

HUhuh Smile

I have a similar problem.
Yesterday , i changed a style ( instruments, tempo, drumkits aso) and i tried to save that (changed) style.

The pulldown menu worked, saving was unlocked and it seemed that the style was saved.

This morning, i turned my Key on and choosed that style ....and... it didnt saved it ..even if it seemed it did.

Well... i guess we have to try to accept that with a bit of humor until Korg updates this (maybe) bug ?

Smile

UPDATE: 19:23

I tried again to save a changed style and now it did save !
Dont know what i may did wrong yesterday

Graham
I did thesongbook suggestion and it worked. Thank you very much.
The only problem is, you have to be certain what you want. Once it is set in Songbook you cannot not change the style or anything pertaining to the style. You would have to delete the songbook entry, change what you want to change, and than re-save it in Songbook. Which is not a problem, just a little inconvenience.

Great, but why do you think you cannot change anything once it's in a song entry? I often make changes until I get it the way I like. You can change style, pads, sounds, whatever you like. You just overwrite it!

Hi Graham:
I tried to change some settings for on song which was in songbook. Here's what happened.
I saved a song which I thought perfect with all the settings in Songbook. Once I selected the song, from another songs I had played, I noticed that the Intro 1 was selected, which I did not wanted because I would play the Intro from Var 1. So I selected this song, changed the start without Intro 1 and selected "WRITE". When I selected this song again, Intro 1 was selected again. Even deleting the song from Songbook and saving again with right setting would not do it.

I do not know what I do wrong. I couldn't even find it in the manual. And since Korg discontinued their phone in seervice, and never mind the lack of replying to e-mails, I don't know where to go from here.

In Songbook/Book Edit1 make sure you select the box in the Resource section if you are making any changes to the Style, eg whether or not you start with an intro, which variation you choose to start the song with, the Style, style parts, style parts volumes etc.
