Vocaloid technology is developed and marketed by Yamaha, Hatsune Miku and a few others are based on it. It never really took off over here. |

I never heard of it till now. I may do some googling to see what it entails and how it may be used. Thanks! |

I was excited about this new pedal until I read this: Quote: | "An iPhone app for entering lyrics is available, so you can make MIKU STOMP sing your original lyrics" |
iPhone only app to load up lyrics is a terrible move. Why not have a USB connection to your computer to loud up lyrics? I don't get it!!
Yep...not buying this...sorry Korg. _________________ Korg PX5d

SMK,
Same thing I was wondering about the Volca Sampler. At least give everyone 2 options. |

While it does not support input of English lyrics, it does support input of “romaji,” the method of using the Latin alphabet to express Japanese. I've searched high and low to find an example of someone creating english sounding words via romaji input, but come up with nada... Can't even find anyone using the custom phrase function at all...
Anyone given it a go? I think this is cool, and I've heard it sound pretty bad ass in a production (if you like that kind of thing :p).
Any help would be much appreciated, but I'm predicting I may have to take the plunge, and see how i go myself. |

I never took the plunge. All I heard was Japanese and I Would want English. No time to learn it either, Japanese. Cost seemed high as well and at the time no one here had it. Good luck let us know how it goes! |

I’m surprised there isn’t that much love (or laughter) on these forums as I’d expect for the Korg Miku!
Anyway, on occasions, I upload these arrangements to YouTube, and a couple of days ago, I had a go at the Mario bros main theme. If anyone has any videos or covers, then whack them in this thread. Would be great to see what other things people have made. Enjoy!
