I'm not sure how to contact Korg with bugs, but the sequencer has a bug on the update...if you sequence with the metronome for a track and then turn the volume off the metronome for the other tracks, the metronome comes back at odd places!! Not entirely a problem, but annoying if you are sequencing 'out of time' as it were!!

I haven't found this yet but I did find that on an organ sound the effects were not running even though it said they were on. I switched back to another song, back to the first one and the IFX came on. Hmmm.
Going to have to do some more tests. I don't think it's a big deal yet though. _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

I noticed another "thing" in sequencer.
When I go from my Program (simple one, no Karma, no drum track) to sequencer via Enter+Rec, the sound is not ALWAYS EXACTLY transferred to seq mode. There is minor but audible difference in my case. I noticed it does not happen always, and played with it for a while and I seem to isolate steps that trigger this behaviour. Here are 2 scenarios below.
In my case it was a program that did not have Karma ON by default.
A (no problem here)
1. Select a program
2. Do not change any settings and go to Sequencer via Enter+Rec -> no problem here, sounds is ok, as expected.
B
1. Select a program
2. Turn Karma ON. Turn Karma OFF. Yes, just like that, turn it on and off. You are still in program mode.
(With Karma ON, ignoring modules running, the flavour of sound is slightly different.)
But anyway, at this point we turned Karma off and at this time sound should be the same as original program, and it is.
3. Go to sequencer via Enter+Rec, and the sound is different. It actually has the same flavour as sound when Karma is ON, but without modules running.
Nothing major and can be worked around, but inconsistent. _________________ Korg Karma, Korg Kronos 73 |
