Back in Japan on vacation.....

Walked into a local dealer and was shocked to see the Korg Kronos2 88-key going for just under the advertised US prices for the 61-key version.

The 61-key version in Japan is approx $2300.

Just wanted to share this info.......so tempted to pull out the credit card.

Heck, sometimes you can't even BUY something in the USA that is available in Japan. I wanted a particular model of camcorder a few years ago made by Panasonic that just was not available anywhere in the USA so I had to buy it direct from Japan.

Too bad shipping a single 88 key Kronos from Japan would likely wipe out any savings to be had. Not to mention I would be on pins and needs the entire time hoping it wouldn't get wrecked during the trip.

I paid US$ 5,000 for K61 in Brazil in 2011 Sad

That's shocking too, isn't it?
