I am considering a Kross to add to my present rig and am interested in its vocoder features. Unfortunately though I cannot find any videos or audio demos of how it sounds. Does it offer traditional vocoder type effects like the new Roland JDXi and Mr Blue Sky type effects? How easy is it to use?

Thanks
Simon

I'm back. It's the talented Steve McNally - but I'm afraid it's not the vocoder, it's just the mic input - he's singing along with sequences and or audio files in the Kross. I'll look for more though.

Cheers Tommy, I did watch quite a few Kross videos but couldn't see anything demo'd of the vocoder. If anyone on the forum has used it I would be interested in knowing the results.

Sounds good. Nice job. Is it possible to take the dry vocal completely out of the sound and just have the effected vocal?

Thanks so much Tommy M for those samples, that's what I was looking for! So it seems to be a proper vocoder then. I've also been looking at the Krome, but that doesnt seem to have any audio input features or recording.
