Hi all,

I'm interested to find out a little about how old our users are, and how people use our instruments. If you can take a moment to answer this poll by selecting one of the options above (you may need to be logged in to see the radio-buttons), it would be really helpful for our future development. Thank you!

I said 45-54 live performance, but I also use it in my home and in the recording studio. Unfortunately the poll only allowed for one answer.

With this question, we're looking for the primary use; we understand that people often use them for both purposes as well. Thank you for responding - we appreciate your help!

Well I would say this,
I use it myself, and I also teach music in my home as my day job.
I chose the Kross because it could do everything I needed, and also what I needed for my students.
I knew it was easy for students to operate if I created the combis and stored them in favourites, so one button allows students to get all their sounds.

For my own use, I love how portable it is. I bought it expecting to use it along with my Korg sp 250 digital piano, but have found that for most things I can do everything just with the Kross, which is great for set up and tear down.
So live performance is really my primary use.

Thanks for a truly amazing keyboard.

If Korg is contemplating the 'next generation Kross' here are 4 ideas:
1) a chip to include X50-type sonics - less transparent yet silkier?
2) a 73-note version; slightly less resistance in the beginning of the key's travel downward, and a slight 'bump' in the second half of the key's travel downward, and aftertouch, if you can engineer it in for less than another pound (or two in the case of a 73) Wink
3) Holding Exit and moving Tempo knob changes BPM in integers.

Once again, thanks for saving aging backs, keeping us 'hip' and creating Korg miracles.

Thank you to the eight KROSS users who have responded so far. Surely there must be more KROSS users here!

My wife and I won a Kross 61 as a runner up prize in the 2013 Korg Kronos Studio Makeover contest. We primarily use it in the studio at the moment. I have to admit I was pretty impressed by it. Looking forward to more contests like this from Korg!

Technically I use my Kross for live performance. However, I create and add backing tracks using the Kross at home (of course) for those live performances. Oh - and I'm 49 - so I chose 45-54, Live Performance.

A transpose button and real-time controls would be great on the front panel.

Generally I use the Kross 88 for composition in-studio/home. 55 and over.

Just used my Kross for a sample demo for a TV spot. Something about the sounds..... I like the way this keyboard sits in the mix.
