I dont recall what the tempo was but I seemed to have solved the problem for now by reinstalling the firmware

I recently acquired a KP3 (not +) and it seems the sample bank wont allow me to sample at 16 beats consistently. I press > Sampling button. Then toggle > Program nob to the right. The farthest it will let me reach is 8 beats. Ive been noodling around with the controls and i did manage to reach 16 ...
