When you create a new external miditrack, in the dialog box you have the option to activate "use plug-in for external midi". This option may exist with an external midi track, but it is certainly not in the dialog box that pops up when you choose to create a new track. Not sure what you're ...

USB-Audio from Kronos AUDIO-interface is only transmitted if you select Kronos as your AUDIO-Device in LOGiC preferences. If you use an external audio-interface with Logic then only Midi is transmited through Kronos USB. In this case you need of course an analog or digital audio connection between ...

So, I should set the Kronos as the input and create an aggregate multi-output that includes the Kronos and my MOTU Ultralite? Or should I be creating aggregate devices for both the input and output? And once I've created an aggregate device in MacOS do I need to do any further setup aside from ...

Basically what I've deduced is that if I don't hook up 1/4" cables to feed the audio back into my interface, then the audio signal is staying in the Kronos and not being transmitted through usb.

I see that Logic is sending midi out to the Kronos, and even that the level meter on the Kronos's sequencer page is showing signal playback but I still cannot hear anything!

So you recorded a sequence on a miditrack with Kronos and when you hit playback you don't hear anything, is that right? That's correct. I don't think the midi is getting back to the Kronos for some reason, although I was able to get midi to flow both ways using standard midi cabling from the Kronos ...

I've also figured out that the external midi tracks 1-16 will work once I instantiate a software instrument track with Kronos on the input. But if I mute the software instrument track and the external midi tracks will all mute as well. If anyone uses a Kronos usb b to logic pro 9 and can send me a ...

Bob

Hi Bob,

I took a look at your song template. All of the external MIDI channels that you have set up are the same ones that I cannot get to make a sound, either in Combi or Seq mode. MIDI is being sent from the Kronos to Logic but isn't making its way back to trigger sounds.

Using Logic 9 as External sequencer with Kronos

I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me with this. I've looked around the internet as well as through Korg's documentation to get this to work and I haven't found a way. What I'm looking for: I want to use logic as my MIDI master to slave the Kronos to it. I want to be able to send MIDI to ...

MOD-7 patch programming

I was specifically wondering about the sound from vpms 1&2. Rigel answered my question exactly.

Thanks all around![/quote]

MOD-7 patch programming

Just got my Kronos and love the flexibility and vastness of the Mod-7 engine. I've been going through some of the factory patches and trying to figure out how certain sounds were programed, and am stumped on a particular preset. Lotus Garden employs the SW1 to make VPMs 1&2 do this repeat/envelope ...
