There has to be some kind of midi solution other than SW for position lock. Maybe kronos will or won't let you assign the JS functions to VJS but i am curious if karma GE's come with pitch bend and mod wheel type effects that respond to slider control while removing the arp aspect of the GE. That might be a good workaround, thank you Bald Eagle and DeltaJockey. And yes ando727, that is pretty much exactly what I want but now that you mention it, I imagine not being able to easily find that zero position could be problematic

Hacking the joystick of the Kronos possible?

Hi,

the spring inside the joystick that reverts it back to a default center position renders the joystick relatively useless to me. Is it possible to remove the spring so the joystick will stay where I leave it? Have any of you altered the behavior of the joystick in some way?

Seems the best workaround I can think of. If you have a mixer you could also direct the incoming tracks to individual outs 1/2. This avoids the loop, because the USB out automatically sends whatever is going out of L/R (which normally includes incoming USB). Sending incoming USB to 1/2 means you ...

With USB2 it could still have been sixteen up and down. The USB version is not the limitation here. I would have been happy if they had made it even just 4 out, so you don't get a loop when you play back and record through the Kronos. SanderXpander, do you know if there is any work around to this ...
