I switched from Kronos 2015 to Nautilus. The german grand piano is not exactly the same. Which piano do you use the most when gigging with a cover band?

At this moment I use the Italian grand, but not 100% sure this will be the one for the future.

I had problem with my Kronos. It hanged every now and then. I tried a lot of things like: - reseating memory - new memory - using an power ups etc. Now, one other solution that might work was to replace the SSD. So I did. I made a clone with Active Disk Image and wrote it to my new SSD: SAMSUNG 870 ...

It's one bit per timbre, so if it is a limitation of the format then that's a pity.
Otherwise, if it's not a problem to "fix" in a new build then Korg should do this.

The other solution with 2 combi's is my workaround too for now. hey, it works, but it's not elegant.

You're correct, however: I have a combi with an orchestra + piano.
First I wan't to mute the orchestra (6 timbres) and unmute the orchestra while playing.

The obvious way would be: solo the piano and then un-solo the piano.

Hi there, I found out that it isn't possible to solo certain timbres (channels if you like) and save this to the combi. I know enough situations that this would be needed and any digital mixer can save the solo status of channels. So why doesn't (my) Kronos do this? It is a bug? a feature? I wonder ...

you can also disable the inputs (of the back) in the global setting.
Try this please, that could also help.

Check your volume sample inputs on the back of your Kronos. I bet they're set to high, which causes a noise on your lines.

What I did was to cover it with 2 small white towels (left and right next to the screen)
I use a pedal to switch sounds.
I know it's not pretty, but I'd rather keep my Kronos safe
