figured it out thank you so much for all your help. the length was set at 1

Ohh okay i understand what your saying now. i guess i didnt realize that. So what your saying is if i want to record going from on the keyboard 1, 7, 5, 1, instead of trying to play the melody in one motion i need to record seperatly.

I just got a electribe mx yesterday and i dont know if something is wrong with it or if there is a setting i need to change or what. Okay so here is whats happening, Ill get my drum beat built and everything going then ill go to add a synth part. I tune the knobs how i want and get it sounding good ...
