so it goes from the quarter inch on that adaptor into a dual rca cable that i already had, i have two of them and i tried them both and the both did the same thing, and then the rcas into the line in on the kaoss pad. funny thing is that when its set up like it should be, color to color, red to red ...

that may actually be part of the problem. looking at my adaptor it looks like its a trs cable, so does that mean it needs to be mono since it is a mono output from the mixer and a trs cable just wouldnt be the right thing? heres what i think it is although mine looks a little bit different, in that ...

well yea actually it doesnt have a stereo out function on the effects loop, but what i have is a 1/4" that goes into dual rca that i plug into the line in on the kp3 coming from the effect out on the mixer. i guess even though it changes into two cables it would still receive the signal mono because ...

stereo/mono issues
I have a feeling this can get fixed pretty easily. i have my kaoss pad running in the effects loop of my mixer. one quarter inch on the out of the loop goes to the line in RCA inputs on the kaoss pad, and then the dual RCA outputs on the kaoss pad go into two 1/4" inputs on the effect in part of the ...

ive tried it in the effects loop. maybe i hooked it up wrong, but ill try it again. i had a feeling the best way is to essentially treat the mixer like an instrument and the kp3 like an effects processor and just run it between the mixer and the speakers, but wasnt sure. when i have had it in the ...
