When a patch has 2 timbres. Is there any way route the 2nd timbre through the filter being used on the 1st timbre?

I using my microkorg as a midi controller to control vst instruments. I cant seem to find a way to use the volume knob on the microkorg xl to control the volume of the vst instrument or volume of a midi track in my DAW for example. How can I change this?

Is there any way to change the number of voices for each individual oscillator on the microkorg xl. It seems to be i can only change the number of voices for both oscillators at the same time.

I would be using it for the drums and percussion. Ive been using drum racks in ableton live to do my drums, Im not sure if its just me, but it dosent seem like the most free-flowing way of making music, maybe because theres too many options? I just get lost sometimes. what should I consider? korg ...

Hi, im using Microkorg xl in ableton and what I would like to do is to be able to modulate the filter cut-off frequency by using automation envelopes within Ableton. I dont know if this can be achieved but if not what would be an alternative solution?

When recording the output of my xl into my computer through my soundcard, the sound is really low and i have to turn the volume knob on the xl right up to hear it. How do I make the output louder?
