Put simply, the Nautilus is Korg's current flagship workstation, a reduced version of its predecessor, just like the Kronos was a reduced version of the Oasys years ago. Time for Oasys 2 then :). I am in the market for a successor of my Kronos V1 73.Maybe I'll buy a Montage M8 instead, but I'd love ...

Would there be a market for the RH3 88 note keybed with Poly after touch? Yamaha seems to think it is a worthy investment in their flagship model. This is one option I want in my board. I like the stand alone workstation for simplicity. When the next Kronos gets released may it have a similar but ...

So they discontinue the Montage so that they can release a new synth that's also called Montage which looks almost the same as the old one? Yamaha been doing the bare minimum for a decade now. And to think this was once the company of DX7, Sy99, Ex5, An1X, and Motif. Agreed. But arguably korg is ...

Would be nice, but I wouldn't bet on it. They replaced the Kronos line with the Nautilus, which has very little new or exciting about it compared to the Kronos, and is a clear step down in multiple ways. The other two of the Big Three of japanese synthesis (Roland and Yamaha) have given up on ...

Back on topic, I'm actually very curious if a Kronos V3 will emerge.. I've been looking into the Nord stage 4, seems to be a great synth, but to me it feels like it's not enough of an upgrade to my Kronos V1. That tells a lot, it shows how much the Kronos was it's time ahead imo. Anyway. If a V3 ...

Checked again, now everything's working properly. Thanks for the suggestions, not sure where it went wrong, but I think somewhere in global routing. Saved everything, power of - on, load and everything's working as it should. Thanks guys.

Vocoder: kill off mic sound

Hey all, I'm recording and programming a song in the sequencer as a backing track I'm gonna use in an upcoming performance. During this part I want to sing some vocals, with the mic going thru the vocoder. Here's what I did: -turn of global settings for audio input, -reroute mic input 1 bus select ...

Faders in combi: pickup value

Hi all, I feel dumb to ask but I can't find where to adjust this. I am using a combi in which I need to fade in a piano sound at some point. Let's say I using fader 2/10 which is in position 127 because of another combi. My piano sonds starts at 25, so I have to move the fader back. But when I do so ...

Yes, I do gigs, but not once a week. More like once a month.. The rest of my K usage is creating programs/combi's at home and random home studio stuff.

I'm currently selling my Fantom G6 but looking at the current Kronos Sequencer, I feel I might regret that for the Fantom sequencer... You'll regret :( the only thing that I miss about my Fantom G is: 16 external tracks/parts in sequencer and live mode (that don't have anything to do with the ...

Re: Kronos RH3 Keybed Fix Thread

1. When and where you had the repair performed 5 days ago, the Dutch importer took care of it in the shop where I bought it. 2. Which model (73 or 88 ) K73 3. The results -- did the fix work? Yep. No more cut offs, new keybed with better feel and 1 GB of extra RAM free installed. 4. Serial Number ...
