Question on selection of sounds on trinity.....

When I choose a selection of a instrument(for example, all guitar patches on the synth)it always comes up default of selection bank a only when I go to choose sounds, and I have to switch it to "include bank a and b"..How do I set this up,so that each time I don't have to keep selecting the button for ...

Why is the redraw screen on the sequenzzer so SLOW?

i have recently upgraded the OS to 3.1.1. I usually run dense sequences on this, and this is a major drawback using the on board sequencer. Also,I have run a midi file into the sequencer to record it, and I'm guessing with the note capacity it quite often runs out halfway through the recording ...

LOL. Maybe a few more slaps? I was kinda leaning towards happy big fun bags on the screen, and since it is a touchscreen,to put my finger here and there, left circle, right circle...Would take the doldrum out of programming sounds for a while.

Re: There may be corruption with this update! PleaseDO NOT

Can someone verify this? I started by using my Trinity to format the disks required. Then I copied the update files to the disks using my PC. Then I installed the update to the Trinity. It worked flawlessly. Thanks,3 fingers! Don't know what the problem is,but from what I understand,3.1.2 is a ...

There may be corruption with this update! PleaseDO NOT USE!

Latest OS for the V3 (6 voice MOSS option) is 3.1.2 here . After downloading this and upgrading from version 3.0.0 to this version, after reading all the nightmares concerning failures in upgrading and having interruption in power,I checked my disks THREE times to see that they would read properly ...

Simple question concerning O.S upgrade.

I've ordered a cleaner for my floppy drive,as it seems that with some certain disks, not all,the floppy drive DOES read the contents of the disk. Is is possible to upgrade the O.S putting the files on a hard drive? (I have the HDR-Tri option) Does the boot sequence ever go to the SCSI port, and read ...

Re: Unformatted Disks....

1) How would I determine unquestionably if the floppy drive in my trinity has gone bad? Use a blank disk and format it in the Trinity. If successful, then save 'ALL' and check out the contents of the floppy on your PC. If it works, try to write someting on the floppy and put it back into the ...

In my books the F/W update starts with this: 'Hold the "Enter" and "Reset" buttons while turning the unit on.'

I believe 0 and RESET are two different keys, do I remember correctly? Try the combination above.

Thanks Synthjoe!

What is the latest operating system version for the trinity v3?

I have 3.0.0 installed,on the main Korg site, they ONLY have a 3.1.1. listed for download, but browsing around I see some folks stating a 3.1.2. update..

Unformatted Disks....

This is an addendum to the problem I had posted with updating the o.s to 3.1.1. I had formatted the floppies on a computer running vista. It decompressed the img files, and I could read them fine on the pc. However, when I took them down and inserted them in my drive on the trinity, they are reading ...

Changing the picture on the screen...

This seems like a dumb question, but I would like to change the display screen on my trinity when I power up,and need information on: 1)What format and maximum size does the display accept?(jpg,bmp,etc...) 2)How do I actually load the file into the unit? Thank you all for the great help in the past ...

Hello Mike, I have not had to do this, but In the forum Sharp noted what kind of battery it needs etc etc. Its not an easy job. And that would be better done with a tech cause the battery is soldered to the Mother board. If you fry the mother board, your trinity is might as well a thick piece of ...
