Stupid Guitarists vs. Dum Patterns in Combi's?
Oy. I can't seem to suss this out. Remember, I am not-yet versed enough on Mr. Kronos to program my own. Posit the following: 1. I find a Combi I like 2. Except for the drum pattern that plays with it 3. ...although I *do* like the Karma GE settings and what they *do* to the pattern I don't like ...

thanks!
Thanks for the responses, folks. Yeah, I've watched a few of Qui's videos- they're great! I'll seek the one on PCG's. A couple follow up questions: 1. I'm seeking orchestral quartet/quintet sounds, plus Eastern European gypsy fiddles. (Yes, someday ill be able to make my own, but I'm not there yet ...

Loading New Sounds Into Kronos
Hey, all - another Ignorant Guitarist question... I hear references to folks who "load new sounds" (patches, combi's, etc.) into Kronos. As much as I love and appreciate this Forum, its "search" function does not seem to work so well... so I'm hoping someone would be kind-enough to assist by ...

Direct nueron / synapse control, so instead of squinting at those tiny tap-screen fonts and unending (but poorly-indexed) manuals, I could get the fussy editing crap out of the way, and just PLAY the thing!
Hmm... with direct neuron/synapse control, my chops would undoubtedly improve, too!

Hey, Korg and/or Stephen: A couple months into ownership, I gotta say I LOVE this board, and want to personally thank you for the effort you have put into it! I have one area I wanted to share as a suggestion: could you make the Global settings more authoritative - in scope and control - over the ...

Re: Another useless opinion...
You can linke each KARMA module to the Drum Track. 1. configure the foot switch to turn Drum Tarck on/off 2. link the desired KARMA module to the Drum Track (under the KARMA -- Trigger tab) concerning Latch, I think you still have to toggle that manually Ksi: Thanks, I'll try that! From your ...

Software packaged with Kronos? Assistance please?
Not stupid questions, though perhaps ignorant ones! :) When I unboxed my Kronos, there were 2 CD's included. However, there is nothing that I've found within the Manuals, or any reference that came with the Kronos, that tells me what I should do with them, or whether there is an editor or something ...

Another useless opinion...
FWIW, and this doesn't really solve the issue for you... But I took the foot switch and assigned it to turn Karma off. ...which is NOT meant as a facetious answer, because right off the bat, you'll realize that the drum tracks, if part of the Combi, just go right on playing. :( And you are entirely ...

How to return to "default" Karma settings in a Com
This is probably in the manuals, but I don't know what to look for... Lets say I'm playing a Combi, using a particular Karma Scene, and I reach up and tweeze the sliders, which alters the sound... Then I click on another scene, and do the same, as the song / groove evolves. ...and then I want to get ...

+1 drag and drop. I assumed when I bought the Kronos that I would be able to drag faders and knobs right on the screen. This would solve a lot of the fader jumping that happens while playing live. Imagine Polysix, seems like a no brainier to me. What could korg be thinking? I'm sure a musician ...

Yeah, that's it!
Works like a charm! It's more complex than it really should be, but as long as it works, I can document the process for tactical use, and now that I've had some practical experience with the IFX, it actually kind of makes sense... In a way that the manuals don't. Stephen- in addition to recording ...

You rock, man. Just watched the video, and headed downstairs to try it out. Thanks SO much, not only for the quality vid showing me how it's done, but also for the couple of different scenarios I might encounter along the way. While the process isn't global, it's at least so etching I can do ...

Manuals!
Hi, Ronfigg - regarding: Time to "crack" open the manuals. Your surmise is absolutely correct - I'm brand-new to this machine, , having just come from a lifelong background of Roland. (Not that I particularly-liked Roland stuff, but over a lifetime in electronic music-making, I learned how to read ...
