Hi spinatze,

i think that will work for most of the sounds as i use samples very rarely and prefer "normal" waveforms like sawtooth...

If you do that work, i would like you to publish the R3 library files so that other R3 users can load them.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi, you can get very warm sounds out of both machines. First get a good headphone, for live even do not use the guitar amp. Start with simple thing like 2 slightly detuned saw waves, set random pitch to 8 and put a little reverb on it. Now set filter to 24db and play with cutoff and resonance. Then ...

Hi,

the original jump sound was a combination of an oberheim brass and an dx7 (FM) brass sound.

Should be no prob for our synths

Hi,

use FM for the initial of the sound and try a little bit rectification in the end. Maybe you like tou read the article in SOS Synth Secrets series on strings.

Look here:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/allsynthsecrets.htm

and select articles on string programming.

Hi cymbaline,

i have made some (i believe very convincing) sounds in that direction, e.g. a useable piano sound. If you leave your mail adress i will send them to you.

Hi,

has anyone found a possibilty for using the internal bus in cross modulation? I want to setup some algorithms (FM) like in DX/ where you have a modulation chain, e.g:

Timbre1 VCO -> modulates Timbre2 VCO -> modulates Timbr3 VCO

Many thanks in advance.

HI,

it depends maybe on the style of music.

For me using the Radias live and for funk music the Radias is for me a lot superior over the virus.

FYI: In germany the radias (rack) is still at 999 EUR.

Bye, Dirk.
