lower tier
Nord Stage 2 is the perfect compliment to the kronos although with the new version of the Kronos I have been thinking about a Kronosx88 on the bottom (with the kronosx61 on top) the nord is HEAVY so that was a drawback so no big deal to switch to the 88 since its HEAVY too. Each job requires a ...

controller
Others have mentioned this but just wanted to say that the Nord Stage 2 is really great as a controller for the K61. I use 2 expression pedals, one for each keyboard and use it to blend the sounds. I get the full 88 key response from the Kronos without using the sw1 sw2 to switch octaves. The sounds ...

creating 2 new programs from samples
I am learning to create programs from my samples. I can load the samples from the internal disk and have managed to make a few programs that work good. Now I am trying to create 2 new programs at the same time without stopping and rebooting the Kronos. I can get the samples into the sample section ...

loose screw
Hopefully the loose screw is not now lodged somewhere up in the works. Even more hopefully it wasn't a screw at all. I hate to raise concerns but if there was a loose screw or metallic part sitting on the bottom of the case, and it it not rattling since you inverted the keyboard, I would be ...

deleting multisample
Yes you were correct. When I delete the multisample I am able to then change the assigned key to whatever key I wanted. I still don't totally understand it because when I delete it in the sample mode, it automatically puts in a stereo blank multisample. If I delete that, it just puts another one in ...

I can speak for my Kronos-x for almost a year. No issues. None at all including keybed or system problems.

vector js
I went to mine and pulled on it. I think I would have to break it to remove it because it will not slip off. I use it a lot on woodwinds and especially sax for articulation which gave me an idea. Maybe its the js condum so you can have safe sax. lol No really I don't think it's a big deal. I think ...

thanks Geo
I went thru the omnisphere tutorial on youtube and remember where he said the first thing was to delete the multisample to "make room" for the multisample you were about to add which didn't make sense to me at the time because I was creating a multisample from scratch so there shouldn't be any ...

picking a different key to map sample
I have been trying to find a way to map a different key for samples other than the default C2 for the first sample (or other samples for that matter) When I create the spot for the sample to reside it is always C2. Then the next one is always C#2. I can make it a lower key for the assignment but can ...
