My serial number is in 2800 range.
Thanks for the spreadsheet link. Itt's been so many years, I wonder how many Kronoses are still around...

Many years after, could I know the epilog of your issue ? Regards So nice to see a post on that after so many years. It brings back old memories :) As for my original Kronos, I have still been using it, almost every day since then. After contact replacement in 2015, I had some cutoffs initially ...

Today we change the Keybed for a new one ... Interesting. Where can I get the keybed? and what is the price? I am not sure if I would do that to my original Kronos 73, but out of curiosity I would be interested to see some comments on how difficult/pricey it is to replace. btw, are keybeds all the ...

Thank you Tomto and Sander. Creating a drum pattern in sequencer and saving it as user drum pattern is something that I can use to get what I need. Thank you 19naia for a long reply. I use transpose for drums quite a lot, mainly in program mode, and that's actually triggered my question. I often get ...

Drum - shift/change 1 key only

Hi, I have had my Kronos for years, and enjoy playing it so much that I never fully mastered all the technicalities. So, I have probably an easy question (?) Program mode. Drums. For a given drum pattern, can I change 1 instrument to another one? E.g. let's assume patter uses C for snare, and I'd ...

Drums/Karma question

Hi all, I've had Kronos for quite a while, and drum section is probably something I explored the least, so will appreciate a hint. I am looking for a flamenco rhythm drum pattern, something in 12, but 3 would do. It does not need to be complex, eg plain claps in 3 with accent on 1. I could not find ...

Harmonizer on Kronos

I know Kronos can do vocoding, but can it do harmonizing?

I did a quick search and it looks like this is not possible at the momemnt, but anyway, posting to check if anything has changed.

Side question: what harmonizer do you use?

What else can I do? I did not look at that, but you can get whole new keybed, not just rubbers. Or use another keyboard as midi controller Or get to like the cut off The way I see it is that this issue is inherent to the first model, contact change reduces the issue significantly, and probably ...

Thanks. I was not so much asking about how to setup effects (though would be nice if you shared some of your settings in that clip :)) It's more about connection. So you're connected via preamp I understand? You mention using non-US guitar few times, is that related to the way it's connected ...

Thanks John. I looked at my old MG10 Yamaha mixer, and recalled it has aux busses that can be used to route external effector. I have not used it so far, but I Ichecked the manual and it looks good. It preamps the signal before sending to aux busses, connection seems straightforward, and I'll give ...

connecting electric guitar

Hi all, I have a friend coming over with his electric guitar. I know little about electric guitars but would like to run it through Kronos effects. My question is about connection. Is it ok to plug in directly? Searching the forum i found few posts suggesting a DI box, though these posts were old ...

I had same problem with that A. It was not "sticky", but had the clunk, click sound often. In my case it was spacing between keys, not the front bar (though that is important too). A was closer to G and was hitting it. Playing it with slight sideways pressure towards B did not make any clicking ...

Yes tone adj is great. One wish here though. It would be nice if they were motorized or designed in some other way so they could set themselves to actual value on program change etc, so there is no "jump" of value on initial turn. Yes you can help yourself with reset controls button to bring them to ...

To close the subject, the note cut off problem is gone. The cut offs I had right after installing new contacts went away. No cut offs in last 4-5 days. I did not reopen/refit. Maybe something went slightly not right during initial fitting, and contacts needed some stretching to fit in. Also PIP ...
