Yes, that's the one I got (assuming there was no mistake on PIP side, as there are no numbers on strips themselves).
And yes they look a bit taller, thought I would say they are softer than my pink ones.

My serial is about double yours, have not had problem for ~2+ years, using keyboard every day pretty much (not gigging though) You're right, there is a bit of guessing game with colors. If anyone wants to avoid that, there is always Korg service. Maybe I'll end there too, but i'll hang on for a ...

Please keep us posted as to the outcome of refitting the contact strips! Sure. But before I do, let me clarify that this thread is for DIY fans, who like fixing things (like I do). It's not to vent complains about keybed flaws. There is also so much info in past threads, that it's almost impossible ...

I fitted new contacts. To my surprize cut off did not go away. I'll refit and check again.
Tested on German Grand. Volume slightly dropped, and velocity dynamic narrowed probably.
If anyone would like to comment (here or via pm), welcome.

Thank you. I was inclined to go PartsIsParts way, but was confused with colors. Now that I know I'm not on the latest space-shuttle-grade contacts technology, I'll diy fix it.
Thanks for replies.

Thank you. Lack of replies suggests the issue is not common anymore, which is good. In the meantime, I got a kind pm telling me that contacts color can be seen when looked between the keys with a torch. And indeed, its tips are easily visible. Contrary to what I thought, I've got pink ones. I ...

"keybed" issues - status

Hi All, I know that any topic starting with "keybed" probably sounds like a broken record (or broken keybed repeating the key, so to speak ... :)) Anyway, my K is version 1 though with KDP1 keybed setting, probably blue contacts, though I did not check when I opened it last time. I was not ...

As I typed above I realised I have a spare 1TB drive, and out curiosity tried it. Using my Mac, deleted old partitions and created 1, and formated using ms-dos type (FAT32). It had MBR partition scheme. Connected to Kronos OK, visible all 1TB or so. Then I formated it on Kronos - no issue. It could ...

I thought it was weird you see 1 partition on Windows and 2 on Kronos OS, and that's what MBR/GPT is related to and could be worth trying to flip.
But it's a guess. Hopefully someone with similar setup will comment.

No experience with this setup, and I did not check any manuals, but few points I'd look at. Does manual specify any limits on external drive? Assume you have only 1 partition on the drive? Did you try formatting on Kronos anyway? Tried different formatting tool? Reinitialize drive (try both mbr and ...

yes, choosing a drum pattern could be more user friendly. I have a memo of drum patterns I found interesting, useful for me. I also wish there was more 3/4 6/8 patterns, though I have to say that deficiency worked for me somehow. I ended up playing my stuff with patterns I found interesting even if ...

Thanks Enigma for the comparison.
I'd like to see what screen Kurzweil will put in their next product.. Small LCD screen is a challenge when you design sounds, I think. Or maybe they offer pc side software where you can comfortably do the sound design work?

Hi All, For anyone still interested. I think I found the culprit of the sound issues I have been having before. All signs point to USB-LAN connector or FTP server side software in Kronos OS. I don't think hardware is broken, because it works. But I noticed that when I connect it, let it get IP ...

Thank you all for taking time to reply. I know many are tired talking about this old issue. I found some older posts on this subject, part number etc. Contact strips were available at parts is parts yesterday but when I was ready to order today, it showed out of stock. Maybe this thread triggered ...

Thank you Phenaste. I did not follow any earlier threads about keybed, so this whole thing is new to me. Ok, now I know kdp is new keybed type. There is also kdp1, is that newer than kdp? What was the type in original K? Also, can you share where you got the new rubbers? Is replacement a relatively ...
