To add to the subject of Kronos / Kurzweil comparison, it would be interesting if you include your own subjective opinion/comments from your experience of using both. It would be valuable as we would not find it in product manuals.

Thank you.

By the way, since we're talking about differences. I am guessing the sound on analog outs is generated by a custom (or maybe not?) sound card? I wonder if they are different between K, KX, and K2..

By the way, I'm interested in Kurzweil as well. If I did not have Kronos, I would most likely have Kurzweil.
If you feel like making more videos, I would be interested in your impressions form using both Korg and Kurzweil. Just a thought.

So setting aside file location technicalities, and different hardware, sound-wise it's generally the same I guess..? Maybe except for different piano sample lib?

Thanks Enigma, but that's not what I meant. Sorry for not being clear.
There is a separate link to download libs for K2 vs K/KX, so the files must be different ..

Kronos/Kronos X vs Kronos2 sound libs

Hi All, looking at the new downloads announced today, it reminded me of something I wanted to ask before. Why are Kronos2 libraries different from Kronos/X libraries?

Thanks Enigmahack for the video. Indeed, on your video German Grand does sound better. I was expecting otherwise, anyway was not planning to upgrade. By the way, German also has some resonance you found on Berlin. I can hear it on D6, a little on Eb6. But that could be the beauty of imperfections ...

After intensive use in the last 2 days, no sound issues, no cracklings, no keybed squeazing noises. Last few days before I applied above fixes things were pretty unstable, and would have most likely reoccured by now, so I assume all is fine. Well, only my K knows where the problem was. Maybe the ...

Thanks Greg for the comment. It's 3 years old keyboard, no warranty. I added only 2nd ssd in the past. Today, the issue was getting worse, happened few times, and really got me curious. I opened it up, with no specific plan, other then to slot in extra RAM i had bought before and did not have a ...

The distortion happened again and I was able to record this time. That is with unmodified A000 German Grand. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxypULR_jU4sZlg3bjNpQjRrZWc/view?usp=sharing Before it turned that bad, I heard little occasional cracklings, like on old records, but not frequent. I thought ...
