After factory re-settings, sounds arp etc..some slots are "empty, no sound. This is when ARP is turn on and for the patches without the ARP.

I assumed restoring to factory setting will fill all banks, a and b, with arp. However some banks on a and b are empty. Is that how they are set up? Is it possible to save patches/sounds in them ( by initializing )

Hi Dragan, Yes, as you informed me on a previous thread, sadly, J76 cant transfer existing volca patterns to store. I was suggesting maybe patterns can be recorded on Live as external instrument audio file and converted to midi tracks...it can be hit or miss how these conversion are true to the ...

I guess existing/saved patterns in the volcas can be recorded to a daw and converted to midi and saved.

I had the impression that you can save parameter settings ( either via software or hardware) but not patterns that are already saved internally in the volca banks?

So, it seems the problem is Ableton Live in PC ( drivers) audio configuration in pc.The Driver type in the PC for Live is MME/Directx which does recognize iMac as its input device and output. Yes, I have used the iMic before on a mac without the mixer.

The mixer is a Tascam-06.

I have the iMic switched to Line.....so mildly frustrated at the moment:)
