Personally I think what is needed first is a stable foundation. There are too many small and big bugs at the moment. The machine is unreliable on many fronts, that should be sorted out firstly. Even a small thing as clearing a sequence will not toggle the pad lights until you moved to another part ...

EMX2: Entering different note values in sequencer mode.
It may be due to a lack of coffee or sleep, but I can't figure out how to enter different note values in the sequencer. It defaults to C4.

Too bad I ran into this after sending a list of issues to my music store which they've forwarded to their supplier, who will then forward it to Korg  At the end of the next month my trial period runs out, I hope to receive an answer (or better, firmware updates) before that time. Otherwise it ...

^ OTG USB is a way to connect devices such as storage directly. Most Android mobiles have it. You can use a OTG cable and connect a UBS stick for storage, or a webcam, mouse, keyboard, hub, etc If the e2 runs some sort of embedded Linux it might be possible to connect a USB hub and then plug in a ...

^ Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one with this, but not glad there is yet another unreliable 'feature'. Not to mention the time lost recording events and doing them again due to the lack of overdubbing. Like you, some of my events are short, around 5 minutes. Those also do not play back properly ...

EMX2: Recorded events suddenly stop during playback.
I ran into an odd problem, most of my recorded events don't play the full recorded event back but stop playback after a minute or so. Has anyone else ran into this? The parameter guide says there is a limit of 100 files but nothing about a maximum length or amount of events recorded in one recording ...

^ Unfortunately not. Event recording doesn't undo the IFX and long release/decay sounds being abruptly broken off when changing a pattern. I really hope they can fix that long with the delay when patterns are "busy". We shouldn't have to take into account that a delay won't carry over when changing ...

^ I understand your sentiments. If you compare the e1 with this e2 there is a lot of basic functionality lacking. You sum them up quite nicely. Anyone expecting an upgrade from previous models will be disappointed. But I don't think DDoS will help, or contacting Korg for that matter. I have tried ...

I agree that the big update should sort out the problems rather than introducing something new. 4 bars is something I knew when I bought it, but the clicking, gaps, and other niggles and bugs are not wanted (specially in an instrument sold as live tool). It needs to be reliable before anything else ...
