Sorry to keep this topic going, but i found a nice workaround solution to recording KARMA output to external midi synth (MX49). For tracks that i want just my MX49 to use KARMA i do the following. First i made sure the track parameter was set for BTH. Then i turned off the insert IFX in the track ...

In sequencer preferences, you want to be in overdub.
Hit record for desired track and move track fader.
When you playback your track, the fader movements up or down will be recorded.

Thank you Mr Kay for your reply, It doesnt really matter if i cannot transmit KARMA out to external synth when using KRONOS this way. I do not have any songs that require that. I guess i just wanted to see how far i could take KRONOS. The note off in key zones works like a charm. Your help with this ...

Sorry to be a pest, but i figure you would be the man to ask.
One thing i noticed when having KRONOS internal sequencer notes off in key zone, is the track will not output KARMA to the external midi instrument.
Is there any kind of solution for this?

Just did a test with a test song that used about 50/50 of KRONOS tracks and MX49 midi tracks. I added a alot more KRONOS internal tracks to audibly here the polyphony drop out. Then i used Mr Kay"s note off solution on the external midi tracks. The polyphony stopped dropping out when the KRONOS ...

KRONOS not recording its internal notes is a much better workaround.
I will try it in just a few hours.

While taking a break from working on midi stuff.
I watched some more utube videos of the system 8.
I miss judged this synth.
It sounded pretty darned good on some of the other videos, as compared to the first video i viewed.

I know im a butthole for saying this,
but if it is possible for a synth to sound not musical and sterile.
This synth gets the prize.
I like the idea behind it.
I just do not like the sound of it.
Perhaps im wrong.
Just my opinion.
