Shift+execute definitely, i thought i mentioned but then my voice usually is not clear nuff. there are usually few of these things that need to be addressed for styles. 1. Source chord , look at the notes or in daw to knkw the key of the piece. CMaJ7 usuallg. 2. Mix levels : the initial photo you/I ...

sir, I don't get your grudge against third party devs. Yes korg should definitely do some sort of software, however third party dev will never cease to exist. (Freeware or otherwise). And nothing korg or any other person can do about that, unless there are legal ramifications, and that too may be ...

Thanks a million for the offer Amit, no hurry you can do it when you find some time ! I'm not interested in any one style in particular but any additions to my current set of styles would be great eg: Reggae. Is it possible to take any style from this Yamaha site: http://www.psrtutorial.com/sty ...

tacman7 wrote:So a midi loopback would be the same thing as recording your midi output in a sequencer and sending it back to the pa600?

Thanks
Yes kinda,
but the main advantage here is, there is no sequencer involved.
and you can do all natively on the keyboard itself.

Seeing that the pa4 has a function to record and playback chord progressions, an update to the os should be able to do this also on the pa600 seeing that the screen is big enough... Question is wheter korg will be willing to share this function with the lower end keyboards.. I have found a way to ...

I really wanted to try that but I'm a bit confused about markers. What are they in midi spec? I'm familiar with most events but markers were always something that the DAW kept track of and didn't go out with a midi file that I knew about. Do you know how to add a marker in Studio One? Would use ...

I don't think you can turn off a pad, but you can mute it (set it's expression to 0) and change it's program etc . MidiIn Page : Set receive channels for Each pad. Then you can send all sort of midi messages to them. like Channel 6-8 receive for Pad1, Pad2 etc. send them CC#11 (Expressions) with ...

Hi Amit, thanks for the reply. I have tried your software but only a couple of styles that I tried to Import using both individual and shift on the pa were to my liking and to me did not load correctly. Needed a lot of work. The method and software I've described worked perfect on the few styles ...

Nice,
If pa3x allows for import of marker separated midi file (like PA600 ) (Shift Execute)

You could also give this a try: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=98824
