When i was younger and coming up i was a big snob and not very friendly or approachable. The only editor that worked for me was extreme sample converter. I converted akai s5000 library and kontakt library with it. You should know that when converting NI files...the effects and other info get left out. My s5000 libray is freakn amazing on kronos...all mmy old juno 106, korg polysix, d50 ...

i found the gated ones in kronos. not very good presets even after messing with all of them all night.

Qui was again you rule. Once you said the proper terminolgy my world open3d up. I foust a vst that does exactly what i was looking for, this whole time i thought they were some type of arps. Tomto66 and amit thank you so much as well. Time to light up and experiment, i love this type of playing ...

Thank you guys. Gated effect is exactly what im looking for, just didnt know it. I knew Qui had to have it, just saw gate in the video and was "nah". My thoughts are why isnt there a device that does this? One with a freakload of patterns. This method is gonna take a lot of time and experimentation ...

nah...i rather just play it the way i do...and quantize it.
maybe my way is the only way. I always thought the chords sounded automated, I cant do it for the life of me

i want to automate the whole chord, instead of the notes that make up one. Kronos has a few options, but nothing that I found useful. would love to sequence my own patterns using my hand rhythm as a template. (such as tap the rhythm) picture yourself holding a chord. then imagine diff strumming ...

I dont want to arp single notes that i hold, I wanna arp the whole triad or 4 note 5 note chords. Im struggling with this...
I been using Qui's videos to dig in but not really finding what im after. I would love to sequence my own patterns as well....asking for too much?
