Hey there Codd2 - Up front I will apologize as I don't have the specific answer and am new here but I did ask a similar question to yours that was met with some great responses. My question was how to load 3rd party sounds into the banks you wish them to be as I was getting stuff overwritten etc. I ...

A "thank you" to SanderXpander's reference to Soun

To: SanderXpander Thought it be redundant to keep quoting you and I it's going to be a while until I am, not done, but have stopped reading and listening on soundsonline.com for a breather. So I wanted to thank you for the link. "I owe ya one" as this is going to save money for me at least on the ...

What is your intended use? If you're planning to do high quality orchestral arrangement with lots of articulations and realistic strings, I would strongly discourage you from trying to do this on a workstation. If you are already working in a DAW and just want the best orchestral sounds I'd like to ...

Seems like a lot of money. Did you really like the demo ? Are the factory orchestras , etc keeping u busy ? Yes, there are multiple demo's from several artists/developers etc that I've carefully listened to, that of which include some or more of the following; 256 programs, 147 wave sequences ...

Yay/Nay – K-Sound’s $799 Symphonic Dreams Complete 4 Library

A colleague of mine may beat me to the punch and purchase the (K-Sound's) "Symphonic Dreams Complete 4" Library (as shown on the Korg website to download for $799!). A lot of money to spend on a library of sounds, though the samples played on the site sound amazing just coming through the little 3 ...

Re: Loading sound libraries into specific places in user ban

Hi, can anyone out there help? My problem is that I'm trying the load some newly bought sounds into user bank G but when I do this it just replaces the sounds the are already in there... I'm unsure how to point you to my question very similar to yours as I am new here, but I just asked about the ...

Also be aware that almost the entire manual (minus some diagrams) is on-board the Kronos, via the Help button. That's a good way to get instant help for things you get stuck on. Indeed it is. Didn't know that. Saw the "help" of course but didn't think it would be complete like so many other ones ...

My gratitude to Michelkeijzers and 19naia

Wow, thanks to the both of you so much! I am indebted. I want to apologize for such a long winded post. I just started and couldn't stop . It is also because the Kronos has so many things to think about/learn. Michelkeijzers, I see what you mean now about the possible “combi” problem that could/wou ...

I downloaded the manual and studied it for about two months before I got my Kronos. That helped a lot in knowing what it's capabilities are and in getting around the system. I also had worked with Korg synths before so I knew the general way that Korg does things. Yeah, I wondered about that (if ...

All of the Korg Kronos manuals are very good, I think, and were written by one of the forum members, Danatkorg. Are you talking about... Another forum member, Qui Robinez has also made some very useful videos. . Hey there - Thank you very much for that. Perfect outline of what is the same posturing ...

How do I load 3rdprty sounds to specific user banks?

Newer kronos user here. I've managed to understand how to load the 3rd party sounds recently purchased. I purchased two different libraries, one was piano's and the other was nylon stringed guitars. Once I successfully loaded the guitars, they appeared in the "UG" bank. Then when I tried to load the ...

[quote="SanderXpander"]I think it's generally very well written but I don't think it's a "must" for any non-lethal device to read the manual.
Ya see, lol, it took this lonnnng to finally "get" your humor in "non lethal" device. Funny. Thanks again

[quote="SanderXpander"]I think it's generally very well written but I don't think it's a "must".... Thanks for the reply. Yeah, like anything, the "book is there to help like they were in earning my degrees" but in the absence of a teacher so to speak (less this forum as I know you and perhaps many ...

Anyone ever read the Kronos guide cover to cover?

New greenhorn here. 41yrs performing/formal training. New Kronos. Sick stomach! What?!? This thing is unreal. I WILL learn it. However, please advise here. Who here has read the huge manual and will vouch for its validity or thorough understanding of the unit post read? I have fallen into the same ...

Kreetings

Thought I'd try and utilize the forum exactly as it suggests and first say Hello. I'm a formally trained pianist, having practiced nearly every day for 41 years this March. I'll hit my big 50th Bday soon. Having said this, I am a performer who has nothing but green envy for all those who speak ...
